Stunning bedrooms in the heart of Wimborne
Set in the centre of Wimborne, 1777. Bedrooms & Breakfast at the Albion is a small inn offering accommodation to those wishing to explore the Dorset area, traveling on business or simply requiring a place to stop overnight.
The town of Wimborne has a rich history, boasting a growing arts scene, annual folk festival, and the local area’s connection to novelist, Thomas Hardy.
Dating back to the 17th century, the Albion was the oldest of four coaching inns in the town – of which only two remain. Over the centuries it has housed both the magistrates’ court, a school house, and was once a place of refreshment for King George III as he traveled to Weymouth. Today the inn provides accommodation only, now paired with its sister bar and restaurant, The Olive Branch, a stunning and relaxed dining experience just 152 steps away, where we host our leisurely breakfasts.
